What we have already accomplished:

  • No. 1 Male vocal solo in Florida State competition

  • No. 2 Small ensemble in Florida State competition

  • No. 3 Female vocal solo in Florida State competition
  • All students that participated in the Florida Vocal Association's Solo and Ensemble Assessment  
    received the Association's highest rating:  "Superior"

Steven Armstrong, a native of Bradenton, Florida, has a long record of preparing state and
national vocal competition winners. His students regularly receive superior ratings at music
performance assessments and various vocal competitions. Steven preforms often as a
soloist and conductor. He was awarded a full scholarship and was a teaching assistant while
working on his doctorate at the University of Miami. He earned a masters degree from the
University of South Florida and teaches at the college level in the Tampa area. Vocal
fundamentals are stressed along with sight reading and theory. Steven also teaches brass
instruments and guitar. He has taught all ages and skill levels and welcomes anyone who
has a desire for excellence in their musical training.

Amy Clark, a music major at Clearwater Christian College, has taught piano and woodwind
instruments for 6 years. She is an accomplished soloist and accompanist and has competed
in and won several music competitions. She combines musicality and theory with the
fundamentals of each instrument.

Roderick Krohn was soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 16
performing the Tchaikovsky violin concerto.  He also was Concert Master of the Pasadena
California Symphony and later as a featured performer for the Huston Symphony Orchestra.  
Rod is currently accepting violin students from beginner to advanced, ages 7 to adult.
Emphasis is on fundamentals so that his students are able to achieve maximum results and
personal satisfaction regardless of their level of ability.
